Teaching@DEECD - Victoria needs high-quality graduates available to teach in Victorian government schools and early childhood centres. If you are considering a career in teaching, there are a number of scholarships and incentives available.
Holmesglen TAFE Certificate IV in ESL (Employment/Professional) Teachers - this course is primarily designed for overseas qualified and experienced primary and secondary teachers, who are eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. Teachers who possess the required qualifications to work in Australia, but have little or no experience in the Australian education system. This course, which includes a practical placement component, will facilitate the transition to employment within an Australian educational institution. A five-week practical placement is a key component of this course.
