MLTAV 2019 Annual Conference

“Languages 2019: Reality, Relevance, Rethinking”

The Modern Language Teachers' Association of Victoria, Inc. (MLTAV) 2019 Annual Conference 'Languages 2019: Reality, Relevance, Rethinking' is scheduled for Friday 17 May 2019. The Conference will be held at The Catholic Leadership Centre, 576 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne VIC 3065.

The MLTAV 2019 Annual Conference Major Themes will be:

The MLTAV Annual Conference offers a unique setting in which Victorian Languages teachers are encouraged to engage with, and learn from, colleagues from within your Language-specific network as well as teachers of other Languages. Learnings from Conference sessions are generalised, enabling adaptation for use in your own classroom context.

Registrant Details

MLTAV School members: Teachers from schools with a current MLTAV membership must register individually online and will be emailed a tax invoice to be given to the school bursar for payment. Each teacher requires an individual, identifying email address to register, and should not use a generic school email (e.g.  info@school.org.au).

If you are interested in presenting a session that encompasses the notions of the Reality, Relevance and Rethinking in Languages teachers' professional practice, (relevant to all levels OR Foundry, Primary, Secondary, Tertiary), please submit your online Expression of Interest via the following link:

Sessions run for 50 minutes.

All presenter expression of interest responses MUST be submitted online (using the above survey tool link) by FRIDAY 5PM 12 APRIL. You will be notified of the outcome of your presentation Expression of Interest as soon as possible after the closing date.
